Mark A. Williams is a Global Brand Marketing Manager at Newell Brands. There, he manages global marketing and communication strategies for a number of brands, including; Calphalon, Contigo, Sharpie, Parker Pen and rOtring.
Mark graduated Hampton University with a degree in Strategic Marketing Management, while minoring in Business Management and Sports Management. He went on to spend five years in Washington, DC, where he first launched his marketing career working with a number of non-profits, after interning with the Philadelphia 76ers. While in Washington, Mark built up a large young professional network after attending Hampton University and prior to relocating to Atlanta.
In Atlanta, Mr. Williams is heavily involved as a mentor and the Social Events and Communications Lead with the Emerging 100, the young professional auxiliary to the 100 Black Men of Atlanta. An organization known for it’s profound work within the community, having recently donated $40,000 to five graduating seniors from Atlanta Public Schools in 2016. In collaboration with one of the most prominent young professional organizations in Atlanta, Mark is extremely active in the community as he collaborates with other members to host several career development, corporate roundtables and fundraising events throughout the year.
Mark is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where he serves as the Director of Communications for the Eta Lambda Chapter. Since joining the Executive Committee, Mark has implemented an improved process for communicating past and upcoming chapter events and initiatives. In addition to these efforts, he also manages the fraternity’s local brand on all digital and social media communication channels.
