While Mark takes pride in the continued development and growth of his career, he possesses a true passion for giving back to the community.
In collaboration with the Emerging 100 of Atlanta, an organization founded on mentorship and for community awareness events, they recently donated $40,000 to five graduating seniors from Atlanta Public Schools in 2016.
In conjunction with those efforts, Mark hosts his own annual fundraiser in an effort to raise money for Toys for Tots. In 2015, Mark raised and donated over $1800 dollars for the organization for their 6th Annual Holiday Celebration. For this event, Mark collaborates with local venues and corporate sponsors in the Washington, DC area to bring a seasonally memorable experience to over 250 attendees. Recent sponsorships and partnerships include, Alba Osteria, Jack Daniels, Tito’s Vodka, The Graham Georgetown, Red Rocks – H Street, The Grice Consulting Group and Ping Pong Dim Sum – DuPont.
Proving successful growth, in 2016, Mark raised over $55000 for the organization, contributing the events success to increased branding and marketing efforts with sponsors, improved attendee engagement and return attendees referrals. These contributions tie closely to Mark’s core capabilities not only in event management, but brand marketing as well.
